Mrs. Hustin's 4th grade students had a great time this week at the book fair!!

Fulton Elementary would like to invite parents and guardians to participate in our annual Title 1 meeting. Come and learn about our Title 1 programs. We are planning to meet on this Wednesday, October 25th at 6:00 p.m. in the elementary library. We would love to see everyone there!

Congratulations to Mrs. Hustin's 4th grade class for winning the Scholastic Bookfair teacher competition! This classroom donated the most books to their teacher and were rewarded with a free book of their choosing. Thank you to Mrs. Lohrer, Mrs. Fleming and all of our volunteers.

Day #4 of Bus Safety Week! Do you know the danger zones of a school bus? Please talk with your child about the danger zones of a school bus.
Also here are some safety tips for outside the bus and inside the bus to share with your children as well. Let's all work together to keep our kids safe!

Day #3 of National Bus Safety Week! Today we are passing along some safety tips for drivers. Did you know that school buses are like traffic signals?
*Prepare to stop when a slowing bus has its overhead yellow lights flashing
*Stop at least 20 feet away from buses when red lights are flashing unless driving in
the opposite direction on a divided highway
*Slow down in or near school and residential areas
*Look for clues-such as safety patrols, crossing guards, bicycles, and playgrounds-
that indicate children might be in the area
*Watch for children between parked cars and other objects
*Use additional caution in bad weather.

Please join us Friday, October 20th at 5:30pm in the elementary gym, then to the football game. We will be honoring our Veterans, and those who are fighting the battle with cancer. Our Veterans and cancer fighters will get a free meal, a free ticket to the game and a lot of Fulton spirit. For $5 you can enjoy a meal before the game and share with those we are honoring this evening. There will be baked goods and candy apples for sale too.

It's Day #2 of National School Bus Safety Week!
Did you know that school buses are the safest transportation method for kids?
Students are 70 times more likely to get to school safely by bus vs. car. Here are some safety tips for keeping kids safe in and around the school bus.

Hello, Fulton Families!
Just a reminder that we can not give medication at school without proper permission on file from your child's doctor. Attached is the document that needs to be filled out and signed by your physician.
Medication also can not be transported to and from school in your child's backpack and needs to be dropped off to the office by a parent or guardian. When permission is given for administration of medication at school, parents are expected to provide a new bottle of the medication labeled with the students name and dosage information.
Please reach out to the elementary office with any questions.

The Bookfair will be open everyday this week from 3-3:30pm for parents that would like to shop with their students.

School of Choice Window - Our second school of choice window will be December 4th - January 19th.

Our Scholastic Bookfair is here!!! Come shop while supporting our teachers!

Fulton Elementary would like to thank that Knights of Columbus for their generous donation to the Resource Room. We appreciate your continued support!

Big thanks to the Knights of Columbus supporting our Special Ed program here at Fulton Elementary.
