Update on the Playground:
So a few folks have asked about the progress of the playground project. As you know this was delayed due to manufacturing issues. Some of you may have noticed that site work had started and concrete was poured to begin the walking track. However, the concrete that was poured was not up to our standards and we insisted that it be removed. I am happy to report that the playground company has now contracted with one of our local contractors and work on the walking track will resume this week. Also, we expect that the playground equipment should be onsite this week and I am told it will take about 3 weeks for the installation. So we are very hopeful that the project will be completed in early October. I know that this process has not come together as quickly as any of us wanted and we thank you for your patients.

Just a reminder that we will be having Community Forum meetings as part of our strategic planning process on Thursday, September 14th in the Middle School/High School Media Center at 8:30am, 12:00pm and 6:00pm. We would love to hear your feedback if you are able to attend one of these meetings.
Also if you have not already done so please complete the Strategic Planning Survey
