Fulton Schools is once again holding a shirt fundraiser for the Hindsight Scholarship Fund for Mental Illness Awareness Week. Orders are due Tuesday, October 15th.
Thank you Mr. Woodman for organizing this again this year.

In honor of UNESCO's World Teachers' Day today, we wanted to take a moment to recognize the teachers that impact Fulton students.

We are excited to introduce Ms. Angela Parsons as one of our newest elementary teachers. Ms. Parsons is a graduate of Alma High School and Central Michigan University. She is in her first year of teaching and is part of the fourth grade team. Ms. Parsons chose a career in teaching so she could provide a safe classroom atmosphere for her students to learn and grow. She very much appreciates the close knit community at Fulton. In her free time she enjoys going for walks. Please help us welcome Ms. Parsons.

October is Michigan College Month!🎓 Michigan College Month encourages students to take the most significant steps toward college in their senior year. It also emphasizes the relationship between applying to and paying for college – helping to break down commonly cited barriers to attending college.

A new initiative from the Gratiot-Isabella RESD hopes to connect local employers with young, talented high school juniors and seniors looking for work experience. They’ve begun by building a directory of employers who might find the mutual benefits of bringing a young person on board. As they prepare the next Career and Recruitment Expo, on February 13, 2025, they’re bringing even more employers on board. Employers interested in participating can contact Kkochensparger@giresd.net.
Fulton students will again this year participate in the Career Expo.

If you are in the school this week, you might see a whole lot of pumpkins on lockers. Last Friday as part of our community-building, students wrote positive notes to each other to strengthen connections.

JV FB schedule update: JV will be traveling to Coleman on Wednesday (10/2) instead of hosting Sacred Heart. Game time is set for 6 PM.

Welcome to Mrs. Kashmir Warren. Mrs. Warren is one of our new 1st grade teachers at Fulton Elementary. She attended Ferris State University, South Plains College and Wayland Baptist University. Mrs. Warren found a love for teaching as a young child when she used to make her mother’s daycare children be her students. She says the best thing about being a Pirate are her students and the staff. “Everyone here is amazing! Go PIRATES!” When not at school, Mrs. Warren works as a chef, chauffeur and tutor to her own children. Welcome aboard Mrs. Warren!
