Ms. Bodine's students are creating some amazing art pieces in Art 2, Art 3, and Middle School Art this semester.

In addition to coaching football, Mr. Clements is serving this year as our School Success Mentor. He is still mentoring our online course like he was last year, but he is also working with students who need extra support (academically, behaviorally, socially, emotionally, etc) to be successful in school.
Thank you, Mr. Clements, for all you do for our students.

Mrs. Hubbell's Care Closet is coming along nicely. Students can get personal hygiene supplies and extra clothes, and access the food pantry if they are in need.
Please encourage the student in your life to check it out if they are in need.
We are currently taking donations of hoodies and sweatpants or the items on the wishlist: https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/3MBYNSP16LQN9?ref_=wl_fv_le

Mental Health Awareness Meeting for Parents
Fulton Schools will be hosting a Mental Health Awareness meeting for parents and the community on Wednesday, March 22nd beginning at 6:30 in the MS/HS gym.
This is an opportunity for parents and the community to learn more about what the schools are already doing and planning to do to promote positive student mental health. It will also be an opportunity for parents and the community to ask questions and provide.

Fulton Middle and High School is thrilled to announce our newest social-emotional resource for families. Please create your free account TODAY.
Since November the school mental health staff has been training on the program Michigan Cares, which is provided at no cost to Michigan Schools. The program has been successfully rolled out to our high school health class and some targeted groups of students.
The family portal is the last part to be rolled out. Families can register using our activation code fulton360 to access web and mobile lessons, social-emotional discussion experiences, and supports for students and families on a variety of topics.

Mrs. Hubbell is new to Fulton this year. She comes to us with 10 years of experience. She enjoys reading and hanging out with her family. Her favorite school supply is pens.

Mr. Woodman wanted to share from Day 2 of the Marine Educator Workshop:
Our second full day of the workshop, we experienced the leadership training course, the obstacle course and were briefed on how the chaplains and counselors help the recruits navigate their 13 week basic training experience.
On the first day, we experienced a small snapshot of what a recruit goes through, we're briefed on all the educational opportunities (and how the Marine Corps pays for them) and visited the air station to view the air wing of the Marine Corps.
But the most valuable thing that I have taken from this workshop is the conversations that I have been able to have with drill instructors (very similar job to teachers), current marines and recruits. Through those conversations i have seen the different reasons they all joined and what their story was before joining the Corps. These conversations will help me help our students by helping them with their "why" and how I can help them get there, whether it is to joine the military or not.

Tonight six Fulton Students were inducted into the Technical Honor Society at Alma High School.
Congratulations to

Emily Henry

You have heard about our positive office referrals program, but did you know staff are mailing home positivity notes each month?
Each month staff members select a student and send a handwritten note of positivity and encouragement to their house. By the end of the school year, there should be more than 125 of these sent home.

Parents, Guardians, and Fulton Community-
Fulton Middle and High School is currently seeking volunteers to help supervise our lunch room from 10:30-11:10 and 11:50–12:30 each day. We are currently booking the month of March.
Each person will need to complete and submit a background check form to the office the week prior. The background check form can be downloaded at https://5il.co/189l8 on our website. It can be emailed to the office: mshs@fultonpirates.net or dropped off.

This week Mr. Woodman is at the Marines Educator Workshop. He was accepted into the program by the US Marine Corp and is spending the week on base learning about the US military experience to better help Fulton students who are exploring service.

Did you know Fulton High School has expanded its health class from 9 weeks to 18 weeks this school year?
Mrs. Malek has doubled the amount of time spent learning not only about physical health but also mental health. She has added the Michigan Cares Program (https://michiganvirtual.org/michigan-cares/) including their Mental Health Awareness program. In addition, our school counselor is leading weekly sessions of yoga as a part of the class.
