In todays staff profile we would like to thank Mrs. Heather Cunningham for everything that she does for our building. Mrs. Cunningham is part of the Title 1 program, but is willing to help in any way that she is needed. Heather is graduate of CMU with an education degree. One of her favorite things to do is read! When you see her around thank her for all that she does.


Last day of school is Thursday and a half day! Pickup at 10:55 and busers at 11:00.

UPDATE for Lunch on the Lawn And Field Day is now Wednesday, June 7th.

K-2nd Field Day - 10:00am
K-2 Lunch - 11:15am
3rd-5th Lunch - 11:25am
3rd-5th Field Day - 12:30pm

Hope everyone enjoyed the extended weekend! Fridays lost day will not affect our end of school date. The last day of school will still be Thursday, June 8th.

Fulton Elementary would like to thank Mrs. Suzanne Blackmer for everything that she does for our school and students. Mrs. Blackmer has been employed at Fulton Schools for 28 years. That means that including her time as a Fulton Student, she has been at Fulton for 84% of her life!!


Due to a major power outage affecting the entire school campuses. Fulton schools will closed. Students will be returning home on the buses at 8:00am. Phone service is also not available.

In today's staff spotlight we would like to acknowledge Ms. Michele Powers. Ms. Powers is graduate from Lansing Community College and is currently working as a paraprofessional in the Title 1 department. When you see her around, thanks her for her commitment to student learning.


We had a great afternoon with our visiting 5th graders who came over this afternoon to learn about middle school life.





Ms. Bodine's art classes have been working on a collaborative art project. Here is a picture of the final product. It looks amazing!

In today's staff recognition we would like to send a huge thank you to Mr. Brian Wyman. Mr. Wyman is currently the music/technology teacher at the elementary school. He is a graduate of Aquinas College. One unique fact about Mr. Wyman is that he has sung in three international Barbershop Chorus competitions. If you see Mr. Wyman thank him for all that he does for our students.


Fulton Elementary would like to thanks Mrs. Cara Loomis for a great school year. This year was her first year in Kindergarten. She is a CMU graduate with a degree in early childhood development and learning. She loves "that moment with a students, when everything starts to come together!"


If you purchased a Lunch on the Lawn meal ticket, it will be sent home with your student unless you opted to pick them up in the office. You will need to bring your ticket with you to join your student in the lunch line. If you are joining us but did not purchase a meal or brought your lunch from home, please go directly to the south lawn playground where your student will meet you.


Fulton Elementary would like to send out Thank You! to everyone who supported this year's book fairs. With your support we were able to add about $3000 worth of new titles to the Library. Students are pretty excited for the new titles! We appreciate your continued support.
