
In today's staff spotlight Fulton Elementary would like to thank Mrs. Jennifer Avery. Mrs. Avery is currently our Title One teacher and Literacy Coach. Mrs. Avery is a Central Michigan University graduate. She has been teaching for 30 years. She love to work in her flower gardens at home and her favorite book is "Try to be the rainbow in someone's cloud" Make sure to thank her for all that she does of the students at Fulton Elementary School.


Reminder that Lunch on the Lawn is coming June 2nd! Please have your form and money turned in by Friday, May 26th. Also parents that opted to pick up their tickets instead of having them sent home with their student, can stop by and pick them up during elementary office hours.


In today's staff spotlight we would like to thank Mrs. Tiffany Ryan. Mrs. Ryan is currently a 2nd grade teacher and has been a teacher for 13 years. Mrs. Ryan is a Michigan State University graduate. Her favorite part of her job is watching students make connections and learning something new. She says "I love the look on their faces and how proud they become of themselves." When you see her next thank her for sharing her passion for learning with our students.


Good morning Fulton elementary families. This a reminder that today is the last Popcorn Friday for this school year. If you would like your student to participate please remember to send them with $1.

Today's staff recognition focus is on Mrs. Jackie McAlvey. This is the second year that Mrs. McAlvey has taught 4th grade at Fulton Elementary School. She is a graduate of Western Governors University and loves seeing the growth that students make in a year. Her favorite book is Charlotte's Web. One fun fact about Mrs. McAlvey is that she was a dairy farmer prior to becoming a teacher! Make sure to thank her for being a part of the Fulton Family.


Mrs. Hannah Draher is the focus of our meet the staff message today. Hannah has worked in our office over the last 7 years. She loves to plan the fun events that our school puts on for students annually. She has a degree in accounting and is an accomplished Hand-Bell Musician. Her favorite quote is "discipline is the difference between what you want now and what you want most" from Abraham Lincoln. Next time your in the office thank Mrs. Draher for all that she does.


Mrs. Rotunno's 2nd grade students enjoyed checking out books in the library this week. We are so thankful to everyone who supported the bond to make all the renovations happen!






4th grade students met with Emily Ahern from Mercantile Bank on Friday. Students learned about saving and investing.

Good morning Fulton Families. Due to a scheduling conflict on Friday, June 2nd we will be moving the Elementary School Field days to Wednesday, June 7th. K-2 Field days will be from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m., and 3-5 field days will be from 12:30-1:30 p.m.
We are still planning to host Lunch on the Lawn on Friday, June 2nd from 11:10 a.m. until 12:15 p.m.
Once again elementary field days will move to June 7th. Lunch on the Lawn will remain on June 2nd. We are looking forward to seeing you there if you can make it!

In today's meet the staff posting we would like to introduce Mrs. Jennifer Heinze. Mrs. Heinze has been at Fulton Elementary School for 16 years. She is a Michigan State University graduate. Mrs. Heinze is currently our Guidance Counselor. She loves working with our students to be the best that they can be. Her favorite book is "Harris and Me" Next time you see her thank her for taking great care of our students and staff.


Fulton Elementary School has been working with the GIRESD to provided nutrition coursed for our Kindergarten and 4th grade students. The students have been enjoying their learning and the new opportunities they have experienced.









A huge thank you goes out to Mr. Lambert, Mr. Stephens, Mrs. Butler, Mrs. Draher, Mrs. Heinze, Mrs. Blackmer, Mrs.Cuuningham, , Mrs. Rudy, Mr. Strouse and the entire elementary staff for everything they did to help with todays office flood. Without this amazing team today could have been a lot worse than it was!

Fulton Elementary would like to thank Mr. Kelly McEwen for everything that he does for our students and school. Mr. McEwen is a Central Michigan University Graduate and love the quote "the harder I work the luckier I get!" Mr. McEwen has been active in coaching football, basketball and golf for the last 25 years. Thanks for everything that you do at Fulton Elementary School.


Fulton Schools is excited to announce our free Sports Physical and Vaccine Clinic here on campus. It will be held at the High School on tomorrow: Friday, May 12th from 1 pm-4 pm.
